In common with all other congregations within the Scottish Episcopal Church, St. Ebba’s is totally dependent on raising its own funds and receives no grants from outside bodies. The annual financial turnover of £13,000 (approx.) is raised by direct giving from the members, donations and fund-raising coffee mornings (usually held twice a year).
It has been a tradition at St. Ebba’s that over 10% of revenue is allocated to mission work.
St. Ebba’s pays a quota of £1460 each year to the Diocese of Edinburgh for the wider work of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
Arrangements for giving by Direct Debit, Gift Aid or through the Freewill Offering Scheme (envelopes) can be made with the Acting Treasurer.
As St. Ebba’s is a charity (SC023275), its finances are governed by the Charity Act (Scotland).
